Three-Year-Old Girl Had A Conjuring Themed Birthday And The Internet Loved It

If you can’t live your best life at the age of three, when can you?

No, seriously. Take me back to a time when it was acceptable to do whatever the hell you wanted on a day-to-day basis without worrying about what everyone else thinks of you.

Hence why I’m so jealous of one little girl who had the right idea recently by throwing a The Conjuring themed birthday party. And honestly, I’m all here for it.

The young girl’s third birthday party first rose to fame when her cousin, Andrea, shared some pictures of it online.

Twitter user @dreeaaxo_ wrote, in a tweet that has now gone viral with more than 581K likes: ‘So it was my cousins 3rd birthday and instead of having a normal theme she chose this’. Hilarious.

The little girl, who Buzzfeed reports is named Lucia, dressed up as the terrifying nun – complete with white face paint and black eyes – with her friends getting involved in the festivities too.

Really, what better way to celebrate your birthday than dress up in a terrifying costume and do nothing but scowl all day?! Iconic.

Obviously, the Internet was obsessed with little Lucia and her petrifying party, taking to social media to express just how amazing they thought it was.

One person quite rightly wrote, ‘I fully support whatever decision this child makes for the rest of their life,’ while another said they were ‘equal parts scared and delighted tbh’.

Probably the best replies though were from Jordan Peele – director of the infamous Get Out – and the demon nun herself, Bonnie Aarons, who plays Valek in The Conjuring 2 and its subsequent spinoff, The Nun.

While Peele was offering up his parently duties, asking: ‘Does she have a Godfather?’, Aarons sent her birthday wishes, writing: ‘Happy Birthday Lucia!!! HAPPY EVERY DAY!!’

Buzzfeed also reports Aarons contacted Lucia’s mom and offered to send her a gift, so it looks like the three-year-old’s birthday celebrations are only going to continue.

To be honest, I’m just wondering how a three-year-old girl has watched The Conjuring when I’m too scared to even watch the trailer.

It turns out, she hasn’t – but she has watched The Nun, with Lucia’s cousin, Andrea, telling Buzzfeed the little girl first saw the film at her grandmother’s house and insisted on watching the entire thing.

So what did I learn today? Oh, just that a three-year-old girl is less of a wimp than me. No biggie.

Now if you’ll just excuse me while I go watch some horror films in an attempt to get my reputation back.
