Cancel whatever you had planned this evening because tonight’s Love Island is going to be an explosive one.

In fact, it’s going to be so explosive, ITV2 has been forced to push back Shopping with Keith Lemon by 15 minutes to make way for the extended episode.

Viewers have been voting to save their favourite couple, and tonight two Islanders will be kicked out the villa in a shock dumping, which was so dramatic producers were forced to extend the show.

The two dumped Islanders are currently on lockdown in a bid to stop their identity from being revealed before the show airs on ITV2 at 9pm tonight.

If the first look teaser trailer released by ITV is anything to go by, it’s not just the dramatic dumping spicing things up in the villa.

The clip shows model Jordan telling Maura how despite being in a couple together, Tom says the ring girl ‘doesn’t tick all [his] boxes’, branding her ‘attention seeking’ and ‘cringey’.

Ring girl Maura responds by confronting Tom, calling him a ‘liar’ and a ‘coward’ for not telling her when she asked him if there was a problem in last night’s episode.

At the end of the teaser trailer, host Caroline Flack struts into the villa while the Islanders are enjoying a UV party, to drop the bombshell that is the shock dumping,

While there’s no clear favourite couples at the moment, it’s hard to tell which couples are most vulnerable at the hands of the public vote.

Arabella and Danny could be at risk after they controversially kissed just hours after Yewande was booted out the villa. However, Anton and Lucie are in a friendship couple, which means they might not have gotten the public vote.

Meanwhile, Maura and Tom could be on the rocks after we saw the model admitting Irish Maura probably isn’t the girl for him.

Amber and Anna have come under fire for the way they behaved in ‘defending’ former Islander Yewande, which could affect the way in which people vote for their favourite couples.

ITV

Tonight’s episode will tease the arrival of 12 new Islanders and the return of Casa Amor, which is undoubtedly the biggest test facing the couples so far.

Will any of the boys pull a Josh Denzel and break their ‘loyal’ girl’s heart?

Love Island returns tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
