Walking Dead Character Set For Shock Return In Series 7 Finale

In a show about zombies it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that main characters can return from the dead even if we’ve seen them beaten to death with a bat.

Yes it seems that not even the Grim Reaper can keep The Walking Dead fan favourite Abraham from returning to the show in the upcoming Season Seven finale.

The character, played by Michael Cudlitz, is rumoured to make an appearance in a dream sequence or flashback involving his love interest with Sasha, the NME reports.

This is despite Abraham meeting his doom at the end of Negan’s bloody baseball bat, Lucille, alongside his friend Glenn Rhee in the opening episode of the latest season.

It’s not the first time the ‘dead’ have come back on the show, not as a walker obviously, although that can and does happen as well.

Both the farmer Hershel Greene and Shane Walsh made brief appearances on the show after dying before.

Speaking of death and violence, the show’s executive producer Greg Nicotero has denied there are plans to tone down violence on the show despite, only last week, another executive producer Gale Anne Hurd claiming they had.

She said:

We were able to look at the feedback on the level of violence. We did tone it down for episodes we were still filming for later on in the season.

Nicotero however has denied this, saying that despite there being far less violence in the show since the first episode they have no intention of sticking to that pattern.

The Walking Dead has been plagued by diminishing ratings in the U.S. so here’s hoping they can resurrect the series in the second half of Season Seven.
