A weatherman had the fright of his life when his weather map was stormed by a ‘giant’ spider.
Bryan Hughes – a weather presenter for WOWK – was happily shooting the breeze with his colleagues when the arachnid lurked into shot, reports The Mirror.
Everything’s going fine until, after hearing mumbles from his colleagues, he looks down at his screen to see the spider crawling across a photograph of traffic in heavy rain.
It’s fair to say that Bryan’s response was less than heroic. On noticing his eight-legged friend he was caught completely off guard and let out a particularly, lets say, effeminate scream.
After his initial whimpish yelp he says:
Argh! Jeez Louise! Why did that just happen? I nearly lost my lunch. Oh man, saints alive, we’ve gotta get out there and kill those things.
His lovely co-workers kindly posted the video of the incident to the channel’s website and Facebook page and it quickly had viewers in stitches.
Yes, Bryan Hughes was a little scared and he REALLY screamed! LOL!

Dozens of fans of the news programme posted comments on the video with many agreeing they would have had the same reaction.
As far as getting out there to ‘kill those things’ goes, it really doesn’t seem like Bryan is the man for the job…
