Stop the presses, it’s finally here – enough of that ‘rum and raisin’ bullshit – real boozy ice cream is now here.
And we have the good people over at Tipsy Scoop to thank for this wondrous new creation, reports Refinery29.
Their ice cream is the first one that features actual, real life booze as part of the recipe.
In their own words, Tipsy Scoop offers ‘hand-crafted ice cream mixed with booze custom-selected to make a delicious cocktail’.
The flavours currently on offer include Rum Root Beer Float, Spiked S’more, and Chocolate Stout and loads more.
It’s also available in the form of cakes with one serving roughly equivalent to a light beer – so it’s not exactly going to get you smashed unless you eat a shit load of it – but let’s face it, that could easily happen…
Sadly it’s not available in the UK yet – just the U.S – but to be honest, there’s no way this isn’t going to do insanely well wherever it’s sold.
Anyway, someone is sure to start a petition to get it to the UK pretty soon – and if they don’t we will.
