Ben and Jerry’s have pushed the boat out with their latest ice cream flavour.

The frozen dessert heavyweights have teamed up with New Belgium Brewing to create Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale flavour – an ice cream that features craft ale (for all those hipsters with a sweet tooth out there).

According to Konbini the limited edition range has been created partly to help fight climate change, with proceeds from the new flavour going to Protect Our Winters (POW).

As well as that, they’ve released a bottle of craft ale that channels the spirit of the ice cream – Salted Caramel Brownie Ale beer.

The company explained their charitable contribution in a statement:

Ben & Jerry’s and New Belgium Brewing have been climate activists for as long as they’ve been crafting delicious ice cream and beer. After all, ice cream is best served frozen, and nothing compares to an ice-cold beer.

Along with Protect Our Winters, we’re asking everyone to contact their governor and urge them to support the historic Clean Power Plan, the EPA’s first-ever regulation of carbon pollution from coal-fired power plants. Let’s keep our mountains snow-capped and ready to ride!

Unfortunately, it’s only available in the U.S for now.
