While no further details of the events have been released so far, it’s surely worth keeping an eye out on the Prosecco and Balls Facebook page.

According to theBirmingham Mail, a spokesman for the event said:

Come and lose yourself in a world of childish behaviour.

Re-live your inner youth, for three days only.

Bury yourself in multi coloured balls, play hide and seek with your worst enemy, boogie to ONLY pop anthems, and enjoy the rest of the space for a full day-out of fun activities.

If you can’t wait for your exciting Prosecco fix, the festive season promises to be filled with fizz this year.

From Prosecco advent calendars to Prosecco-infused food, here’s a look at how you can get your fix:

Firstly you can now make your own Prosecco – and all you need to do is buy a kit and add water –  MySecco, by Victor’s Drinks, is the world’s first make-your-own single bottle of sparkling wine and it’s here in time for Christmas.

At £19.99, it’s more expensive than a standard bottle of Prosecco, but you get to have all the fun making it.

Customers are advised to drink the bottle within three days, but we don’t see that being an issue for most people, especially if you’re sharing it.

Then there’s the Prosecco advent calendar which allows you to spread that festive cheer all the way through the month of December in the build up to Christmas – where inevitably more Prosecco will be involved.

Behind each of the 24 doors in the calendar is a mini-bottle of the good stuff and it only costs a measly £125.

And get ready for this miracle bottle… it’s hangover free.

Seasonal saviours Lidl have launched their hangover free Prosecco just in time for Christmas, thank you!

The supermarket claims their organic version of the popular drink will banish that morning after feeling, which let’s face it we could all be doing without when having to spend extended periods of time with our extended family.

The miracle ‘Organic Prosecco Spumante’ has hit shelves and priced at a very reasonable £7.99 is pretty much guaranteed to sell out before long.

Lidl

If simply drinking it isn’t enough and you want to eat the bubbly stuff, Aldi has only gone and infused sausages with Prosecco.

Their Specially Selected outdoor bred British pork cocktail sausages with Prosecco, cranberry and orange are apparently ‘perfect for giving party spreads a prosecco popping twist’.

Fancy trying them? You’ll have to wait a while, they go on sale on December 14, and will only set you back £1.99.
