Gordon Ramsay is known for using language bluer than a rib-eye steak.
But Gordon’s daughter has just revealed that he does not use such foul language at home.
It seems that the 50-year-old is pretty much synonymous with the sweary chef, with his shows peppered through with ‘fucks’, and seasoned with ‘shits’.
This is nothing but an act, though, according to his 17-year-old daughter Matilda, who says that he likes to keep his language clean in the Ramsay household.
She told Waitrose Weekend magazine:
My dad has helped loads of people in Kitchen Nightmares and while he can be harsh, it is for a good reason. Yes, he gets angry but it does make them better. He does not swear at home. On telly he is like a strict teacher but when I watch him I find it funny because it is so different to how he is at home. He’s just a normal dad
Tilly has her own CBBC cooking show, so can’t use her dad’s trademark foul language while she’s cooking up a storm.
Gordon recently announced that he would not be passing down his fortune to his kids, despite earning as much as Beyonce, so fair play to the girl for paving her own way!
Gordon Ramsay recently said:
It’s definitely not going to them, and that’s not in a mean way; it’s to not spoil them.
It’s nice to see him keeping it as real as possible for someone with so much money.
