This is Ben Levy, a 29-year-old who built a bar inside his camper van because he was too busy to go to the pub.

Yep – that’s right, this guy apparently didn’t have enough time to have a few quiet pints in the local but he did have time to spend thousands of pounds turning his VW camper into a pub.

Fitted with an optic bar, pub seating and a dart board – the bar also boasts beer taps, a wine rack, and even disco lights.

Ben explained:

I thought ‘let’s do something different’ so I decided I wanted to build a pub inside of it after a friend of mine came up with the idea.

I thought it was a bit of a joke at first – but it was something I hadn’t seen done before so I thought ‘why not?’

We have got a local pub here so it just started as nothing more than my own place to drink.

The bar, aptly named The Dub Inn – as a pun on Vdubs – caters mostly for Ben and his mates who often enjoy a cold one by the side of the road or outside his house, however he does cater for weddings as well.

He added:

It has just been a case of doing it up on my days off.

It took me a few months earlier this year to completely transform it. I have basically done it all by myself.

The pub down the road is still our local but there is not much time to go out because of work and it is just somewhere to escape from time to time.

It’s hard to argue that The Dub Inn is a pretty cool set up – but then again, surely it would’ve been easier and cheaper for him and his mates to get a taxi to their local instead…
