Ingredients:
For the Kinder ganache:
– 220g Kinder chocolate
– 15g butter
– 120ml double cream
For the muffin mix:
– 185g butter (soft)
– 185g caster sugar
– 3 x eggs
– 450g plain flour
– 225ml milk
– 150g Kinder chocolate (chopped up)
For the buttercream:
– 100g butter (soft)
– 150g icing sugar
– 50g cocoa powder
– 150g Kinder chocolate to decorate (chopped up)
Method:
First, make the ganache. melt together the chocolate, butter and double cream until well combined, pour into a tray and put in the fridge to set.
Next, for the muffin mix. Beat together the butter and caster sugar until light and smooth. Then add the eggs and beat those into the mix, followed by the flour, milk and finally the chopped up Kinder chocolate.
Line a muffin tin with paper cases and half fill each one with the muffin mix.
Put a dollop of Kinder ganache on top of each one then cover with the rest of the muffin mix. Bake for 18-20 minutes at 200 degrees celsius.
In the meantime, make the buttercream. Whisk together the butter, icing sugar and cocoa powder. Easy.
Once the muffins have cooled, pipe on the buttercream and decorate with more Kinder chocolate.
