The dark days before Krispy Kreme donut dispensers started popping up in Tesco stores across the UK are well and truly behind us, if this news is anything to go by.
Krispy Kreme has just announced a new mission: To deliver rings of doughy, sweet goodness to anyone, anytime.
You can now order donuts straight to your door, as the company have partnered with UberEats to fulfil your every dream, hope and aspiration.
No longer will you have to trek to the nearest Krispy Kreme store or attempt halfheartedly to bake yourself – you can now get the spotty box delivered direct.
…As long as you live in America, that is.
There are currently no plans to roll out the delivery service in the UK, but considering the speed with which Uber – and by association, UberEats – has taken over the world, it’s only a matter of time.
Kripsy Kreme are determined to stave off those afternoon sugar dips, one sugar-induced coronary at a time. This is truly the news 2016 has been waiting for.
Gorge responsibly, fellow sugar lovers.
