The time is 10:31 AM and there are no more Sausage or Egg McMuffin’s left on the heat station. You have missed the McDonald’s breakfast. Well that is set to change in the US at least, and based on the companies Twitter feed it is fair to say they are a little bit excited by the news.

The world’s most well known fast food provider have announced the arrival of…drumroll please…the All Day Breakfast.

If you live in, or are travelling to the USA, then October 6th is the day to mark in your diary – but no need to be specific on the time; breakfast will be there all day!

The items to be included on the new menu across the pond are: The McMuffin range, Pancakes, Hash Browns, the Breakfast Burrito, and the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Biscuit.

If you are wondering what a breakfast burrito or biscuit is, it is a wrap and another name for a McMuffin.

President of Maccie’s America Mike Andres has heralded the move as the biggest thing to hit the tables of consumers since the McCafe line in 2009. He talks a good talk.

In a statement he said: “This is the consumers’ idea. This is what they want us to do. That’s why I think this could be the catalyst for our turnaround.”

Congrats to those who live within driving distance of any of the 14,000 franchises that will benefit from the move, as for the rest of us, all we can do is wait and pray.

But at least this pair can calm the fuck down now!
