McVities biscuits: A source of delicious nutrition, milk chocolatey goodness and hot debate, apparently.
While the rest of us were getting riled up at United Airlines and Kendall Jenner popping a Pepsi, some people have been toiling away in the background, determinedly focused on the real issue plaguing the Western world.
Nope, it’s not how McVities managed to fit loads of cut kittens in the packets for this TV ad:
Rather, people are mulling over this conundrum.
Namely: Is the chocolate on a chocolate digestive on the top or the bottom of the biscuit?
@McVities excuse me, is the chocolate on top or at the bottom of your digestive biscuits?

I need @McVities to end a debate….. Is the chocolate on the TOP or the BOTTOM of Jaffa Cakes and Digestive biscuits?

I'm having a discussion guys; you see with chocolate digestive biscuits, is the chocolate on the top or bottom?

Office debate going on at the moment. Jaffa Cakes and digestive biscuits – chocolate on top? or chocolate on bottom?

Although McVities answered the question that’s been keeping us all up at night back in 2014, it seems people haven’t been kept informed – and the company is forever replying to curious customers.
Replying to the latest query, a McVitie’s spokesperson wrote on Facebook:
Hi, our Hobnobs goes through a reservoir of chocolate, so it’s on the bottom! Thanks, McVitie’s.
This upturned chocolate biscuit just turned my whole world upside down.
Moral of the story? Stay inquisitive. Nothing is as it seems.
