Morrisons has a very nice treat waiting for you on Black Friday in the form of enormous and affordable bottles of booze.
Perfect for keeping the pre-drinks flowing throughout December, you can grab 1.75 litre bottles of Hendrick’s Gin, Boodles Gin and Disaronno Amaretto for a much more reasonable price than you would usually expect.
The 1.75L bottle of Hendrick’s will set you back £60. Bearing in mind Morrisons usually sells 70cl bottles for £28, and 35cl bottles for £19, you would be making quite a substantial saving; particularly if you divide the amount between a few of you.
The 1.75L bottle of Disaronno – which costs cost £30 – will save customers more than £15, when you realise the regular old 70cl costs £18.50. The 1.75L bottle of Boodles Gin will set you back £40.
Oh and if you fancy a bit of fizz for your party, then why not check out the 1.5L Prosecco Magnum for just £10? The ideal tipple for seeing in New Year 2019 in style.
Alternative advent calendars are all the rage this year, but can set you back a pretty penny. For Morrisons’ Black Friday sale, you can bag yourself a beer advent calendar for £30.
Unlike other supermarkets, Morrisons are already kicking off with their bargains, calling their pre-sale ‘Black Five Days’. And customers are certainly liking what they see (or sip).
One thirsty person tweeted:
@Morrisons Don’t know how you do it. Walk in with the intention of buying a single drink. Come out spending £90 on a bottle of gin and disaronno. Love the black Friday drinks offers.
As always, these deals usually fly off the shelves, so it’s best to get there nice and early to avoid disappointment.
Once again, Morrisons have proven themselves to be the unofficial winners of Black Friday. Cheers to that!
