A restaurant has launched a challenge for the ages in the form of chicken nuggets.
In celebration of National Chicken Nugget Day on 13th November, (I didn’t even know it was thing!), American BBQ restaurant, Rub Smokehouse, is issuing the ‘Bottomless Chicken Nuggets Challenge’.
The challenge will take place in four venues across the UK; Beverley, Newcastle, Birmingham and Nottingham – sorry London, guess you’ll miss out this year.
Now as I’m typing this, I’m really trying not salivate all over my keyboard – which is proving very difficult right now – but let’s be honest, chicken is great – apologies to all vegans and vegetarians.
I don’t do #WCW on Instagram – mainly because I’m not a creep – but if I did, it would just be a plethora of pictures dedicated to nicely cooked poultry.
You know what? A paragraph doesn’t even do justice for my love of chicken.
But I digress, I’m getting very distracted. For the price of £14.25 per person, you can eat as many chicken nuggets as you possibly can within the space of one hour and 30 minutes. Do you reckon you’re up for the challenge?
The Rub Smokehouse website says:
You have one hour 30 minutes to eat as much as you can. All we state is you must have a portion of fries every time you help yourself to a serving of chicken nuggets.
We’ll be serving unlimited chicken nuggets and fries with a selection of dips to help yourself to, including mayonnaise, BBQ mayo, sweet and sour, ketchup, BBQ sauce, sweet & sour, sweet chilli, chipotle mayo and szechaun.
Do you guys remember the Big Mac challenge?

The event will start at 6PM – with the last slot available for 9PM and in order to take part in the challenge, you’ll have to pre-book your place which you can do now, via their website.
This isn’t Rub Smokehouse’s first ‘all-you-can-eat’ rodeo, previously, the top-notch food chain held an unlimited crisp sandwich event for those who loved an amalgamation of the two popular snacks.
UNILAD have taken part in various food challenges this year – most notably one of our brave editors attempted to take on the Big Mac Challenge – he failed miserably and ended up with bowel movements you’d compare to the volcanic destruction which eradicated the entire civilisation of Pompeii – at least he’s still alive.
One of our intrepid writers tried to take on the world’s hottest curry, 20 times hotter than your average spice – she did dub herself as a ‘bhuna kind of girl’ – turns out she wasn’t prepared for the heat:

‘Why do we do these things?’ I hear you ask. Because ‘Journalism’, that’s why.
