36-year-old Sakdin Duangphakhon became angry at his dad, Ngor, 65, after it took too long for him to boil a meat soup at their home in Buriram, Thailand.

When Ngor admitted he’d forgotten to add fish sauce to the soup though Duangphakhon went berserk, smashing the empty sauce bottle over his father’s head and stabbing him multiple times.

According to police Ngor was stabbed more than 10 times and the knife had ‘deeply penetrated’ his heart.

The father volunteered to cook the pork. The son went to drink a some liquor and then wanted to eat the food. But the dad said it was not finished and not cooked yet.

The son did not want to wait. Then he said he forgot the fish sauce and he became angry. It was reported to us that the son had used a knife to stab the father at the home.

Col. Kitichartchai confirmed the son had admitted the murder and was sent to Amphore Nangrong prison in Buriram to await sentencing.
