Tesco Is Selling Bottles Of Jack Daniel’s For A Bargain Price

Good news if you’re someone who likes a drop of Jack Daniel’s, Tescos up and down the country are flogging 50cl bottles of the stuff for just £8.

That’s right readers, in the week before payday – when a lot of us are struggling to make ends meet – the beloved UK supermarket is filling its shelves with budget booze of the highest order.

You can’t really argue with that can you? Or turn it down. Unless of course you’re teetotal then yeah, absolutely don’t invest in the bargain bottles.

The deal was spotted by HotUKDeals (my new favourite site) revealing the offer is on at Drayton, Trowbridge, Hexham, Hanley and Queensbury branches.

At the time of writing, the cheap bottles aren’t available anywhere else but we can hope can’t we? Good God, on St George’s Day, we can hope. In the meantime though, we could just settle for Jack Daniel’s own coffee.

Despite being available in various non-whiskey forms such as barbecue sauces, chocolates and shower curtains, Jack Daniel’s have decided to jump on the coffee bandwagon and create their own caffeinated beans with their much lived Tennessee whiskey.

It’s difficult to detach yourself from the idea of a JD and Coke on a Saturday night to a JD coffee on Sunday morning.

I suppose it’s a nice, warm way to do hair of the dog in the morning.

They’ve got their own coffee cups, travel cups, coffee beans and Arabica ground, no doubt Clooney himself will be supping on a JDspresso soon.

On their website, Jack Daniel’s describe their new coffee range:

Our unique blend of gourmet coffee is 100% Arabica, infused with authentic Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, and roasted medium to provide a full-bodied rich flavour.

The distinct caramel and vanilla notes of Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey are evident in each sip.

World of Coffee operates using the same principles as Mr. Jack Daniel, ‘Everyday we make it, we’ll make it the best that we can.’ We have been roast masters since 1984 and adhere to strict quality standards in the sourcing and production of the best tasting coffee.

Just like Jack Daniel’s Whiskey, our coffee blend is crafted with pride using premium beans and proprietary roasting methods for a delicious brew with bold character and a smooth finish.

Jack Daniels

A line of coffee that incorporated Jack Daniel’s flavouring into the grounds rather than the actual whiskey was discontinued in 2011.

Unlike with a boozy Irish coffee, you can’t get drunk on Jack Daniel’s coffee blend as it does not have any alcohol content.

The beans are soaked in the whisky for a long period of time, but the roasting process takes away any alcohol, leaving the deep, smooth cinnamon flavour on them.

The gourmet coffee has 100 per cent five star reviews on Amazon.
