This new McDonalds breakfast could revolutionise your hangover habits once and for all.
The fast-food chain are testing a new item that could potentially land on their all-day breakfast menu and it’s definitely, let’s say, different.
You’ve heard of chicken and waffles before, right? Well, McDonald’s are mixing things up a bit and partnering chicken with pancakes.
Introducing the Chicken McGriddle. A fried chicken patty sandwiched between two syrup-glazed pancakes (oh is that what they are?).
We are really struggling to decide whether this is sacrilege or just plain genius.
The chain has experimented with similar products in the past, but this sandwich in particular is the brainchild of Brian Mortellaro, who owns eight franchises in Ohio.
Brian said: “It’s a chicken-and-waffles taste. I just think that’s something that isn’t out there right now.”
He isn’t wrong there. Apparently this creation has been on the McDonald’s ‘secret menu’ for quite some time and is a massive hit with the regulars:
Bosses are now tracking its popularity among the Ohio stores, before deciding whether to roll this out worldwide.
It’s believed that if it does come across the Atlantic to the UK, it would only cost £1.50. Bargain!
Maybe this could replace the recently scrapped Big Breakfast and become a diners favourite?
@McDonalds plesse bring back the big breakfast in the uk. Ive loved it from day one , but without any warning its gone! Please bring it back
