The votes have been counted and verified. The winner of the ‘Crisp World Cup’ 2016 is – Monster Munch: Pickled Onion.
The shock result was announced following a Twitter poll which whittled the field down from 48 entries.
Monster Munch prevailed with a narrow winning margin of four per cent, with Wotsits claiming second place after earning 48 per cent of the vote.

Wotsits made the final with victory over Quavers in the first semi final, while Monster Munch overcame Walkers Cheese & Onion.
The tournament was hosted online by BBC’s Pointless star Richard Osman in a bid to raise money for the Child’s i Foundation, who dedicate their incredible efforts to finding homes for orphans.

At present the charity has received over £4000 in donations.
