I bloody love a Greggs iced bun, and I’m fortunate enough to live within three minutes of a branch of the pasty connoisseurs.

As bad as this may be for my Slimming World intentions, this is extremely ideal for hangover breakfasts, lunches, and Saturday afternoon cakes.

For people who have to walk a bit further to get their steak bakes and doughnuts, there is now another way: Greggs delivered straight to your door, flaky goodness intact.

Greggs is now on both Just Eat and and pastry lovers are ecstatic.

Sadly, not all locations will deliver. I have checked, and Manchester is apparently not having any of it.

Just Eat will bring warming lunchtime treats from branches in London, Glasgow and Newcastle, while an existing Deliveroo service will deliver to London, Birmingham, Bristol and Newcastle.

There are reportedly three locations in Newcastle which will deliver through Just Eat – St Mary’s Place, Gosforth High Street and Byker – while Glaswegians can order from the Victoria Road, Gordon Street and Dumbarton Road branches.

One Just Eat reviewer cheered:

First time having a Greggs delivery and I was worried that the pasties would be cold but they were very warm and I actually had to wait a bit to eat them so I am very impressed! ??

Another whooped:

Omg this is brilliant, been wanting Greggs to come on just eat for years,my order was perfect, and thanks for the little extras, will def be back.

Just Eat deliveries start from 8am, meaning you can absolutely treat yourself to a Greggs breakfast in bed this weekend, complete with one of those really decent coffees they do.

Even better, for a limited time, Just Eat users can order a Greggs delivery to their doorstep without having to meet a minimum spend requirement, or shelling out for a delivery fee.
