While Black Friday is primarily an American tradition – which often involves gouging your neigbour’s eye out for the last half-price toaster – the UK has been getting in on the fun in recent years.
Naturally, there are no shortage of bargains to be had for UK residents over here in videogame land, with Black Friday possibly being your best chance to take the plunge and finally get that console you’ve been eyeing up.
Let’s start with supermarket chain Tesco, who have a rather generous helping of digital bargains for you. If you’re in the market for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, it’s available on Xbox One and PS4 for £29, while the 1 TB Xbox One has been knocked down to £199.
Argos meanwhile, doesn’t have an awful lot going on… you could get a PS4 Slim 500 GB console for £229, but if it’s a PS4 you’re after, there are some better offers out there.
Which brings me to GAME, who are offering a 1 TB PS4 Slim, The Last of Us Remastered, Uncharted 4, Driveclub and a 2 month Sky cinema pass for a ridiculous £249.99.
Amazon will likely step up with some decent deals on the now traditional Cyber Monday which follows Black Friday, while you can also expect Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo to host all manner of discounts on their own stores.
