Watching Geralt relax in a bathtub during the opening moments of The Witcher 3 represented a unifying moment for thirsty gamer everywhere.

It was in this moment that everyone who hadn’t played the previous Witcher games realised that Geralt of Rivia – as he lay there soaking with his legs akimbo, not a care in the world – could get it.

You might remember that Dark Horse partnered with publisher CD Projekt last year to immortalise bathtub Geralt in statue form. I’m happy to report that said statue is now available to purchase, to do with as you wish. Just keep whatever you have planned for it behind closed doors, yeah?

The statue is currently available for pre-order on Amazon for $72. I can’t seem to find it on Amazon UK, unfortunately, but it will be released on May 29 if you wanted to pre-order it now and pay for that extra shipping.

To be honest, I wouldn’t bank on it staying on sale for very long, as the meme-worthy nature of a bath-dwelling monster hunter collectible has all the makings of a sell-out product.

Dark Horse describes the statue as:

Originally an in-game scene, turned internet meme, turned CD Projekt Red April Fools joke, the demand that this brought to life from Witcher fans became too great to bear. Dark Horse is proud to bring you this marvelously detailed, hand-painted polyresin statuette featuring Geralt of Rivia relaxing and healing from his perilous journeys, in a candlelit bath, complete with his rubber ducky!

In other news pertaining to The Witcher, multiple listings seem to have sprung up online that suggest The Witcher 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch. While I never would have guessed a game of that scale could fit on Nintendo’s console, I’d certainly welcome the ability to play one of the best RPGs of all time on the go.

According to various Chinese retail listings, Geralt’s most recent adventure will be arriving on Switch in September, along with the excellent Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions for the game.

I’ll be honest, if Nintendo were to announce such a move at E3, perhaps alongside the announcement of Geralt as a playable DLC character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, I might just lose my mind in a manner from which it would never recover.

Until such time as The Witcher 3 for Switch becomes a reality, I will settle for ordering myself a bathtub Geralt that I can take with me anywhere I go. That wouldn’t be weird, right?
