You’d better be filling your boots with Fallout 4‘s many, many glitches and bugs, because Bethesda are looking to roll out patches for the game pretty soon.
It’s no secret that Fallout 4 has all the.. character.. of Bethesda’s other releases when it comes to glitches, but it’s something the developers are aware of, and will be fixing them with a series of patches.
Speaking on their official blog, Bethesda said:
It’s true that the freedom our games offer you can lead to unintentional consequences that are sometimes bad, when the game combines too many unexpected elements at once. We’re happy that Fallout 4 is our most robust and solid release ever… but a hundred testers will never replicate the many millions playing the game now, and we’re hard at work addressing the top issues.
Our process for updating the game will include releasing a beta patch on Steam, followed by full release on PC, then release on the consoles. This process has worked well for us in the past and allows us to get more fixes out faster.
They continue on to say players should expect a lot of small fixes, mixed in with a few big ones as they attempt to combat all the game’s problems, and hope to have the first patch out by next week.
Here’s hoping they don’t get on to fixing all the physical glitches in Fallout 4 straight away though, some of them are just fantastic.
