Pokémon GO servers have crashed, after millions of people apparently ventured outside to enjoy a rare British sunny day (and catch themselves some Pokémon).
The game was only launched in the UK on Thursday and has already had a massive surge in popularity, with many jumping to start playing the game.
But it seems the app can’t deal with this overwhelming demand, as the game is now freezing and refusing to allow gamers to log in.
And it’s not just in the UK, with countries including Holland and the U.S. complaining that the augmented reality game is playing up, ITV News reports.
A load of people who were planning to spend the day adding to their Pokédex still have no idea when the game will be available again.
These users have instead been greeted by a message that says: “Our servers are humbled by your incredible response. We are working to resolve the issue. Please try again soon!”
Pissed off users took to Twitter to vent:
*#PokemonGO server goes down*
*Looks up from the phone*
"Where the hell am I and how did I get here?"

One desperate gamer had to resort to real life:
Servers down. Guess I will chase the real thing. #PokemonGO pic.twitter.com/3DIbI2jOZN

But the pain is definitely all too real:

And it’s all just too much for some:
Now in a panic I've lost everything as I deleted the app &downloaded it again as I thought it was my phone ??? #pokemonproblems #pokemongo
