I think I speak for all of us when I say everybody has, at least at some point in their lives, daydreamed about being a bee. If you say you haven’t you’re a liar because you ahve.
Bee-dreaming aside, would-be hiveheads will be able to live out these dreams in the upcoming indie title Bee Simulator, which now has confirmed co-op.
In a press release, Bee Simulator is described as a much more serious affair than other simulator games like Goat Simulator, saying that people might “learn more about the relationship between bees and nature,” and that it could cause people “to change their views on the balance between work, life and the environment.”
What’s particularly exciting though, is the fact that the game will come ready made with a number of modes including co-op, versus and exploration mode, so you can bring a friend along for the ride. Lovely.
Go ahead and check out the co-op trailer below:
As far as gameplay is concerned, we don’t know too much other than the fact that the game will feature a story mode in which you must protect your hive from things like wasps and annoying humans, and the fact that the devs VARSAV Games Studios seem to be pushing it as a family friendly affair.
Bee Simulator will be winging its way to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on 14 November 2019. Bee prepared.
I’m so sorry for that pun.
