Yes, you read that headline right, Conor McGregor of UFC fame has confirmed he will be making an appearance in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Why not, I guess?

The UFC star posted the below tweet yesterday afternoon confirming his involvement with Activision’s upcoming game, and also teased another reveal for later today.

While we don’t know what his exact role in the game will be, it’s a pretty safe bet that he’ll be punching and kicking people, maybe putting futuristic robots in submission holds. All in a day’s work for The Notorious.

This won’t be the first time McGregor has been re-made in a video game, he recently got a digital makeover as the poster boy for EA Sports’ UFC 2.

He isn’t the first sports star to feature in a Call of Duty game either, as NFL running back Marshawn Lynch got a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

We’ll probably know more about Conor’s character with the mysterious reveal later today. Infinite Warfare is out PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC November 4.
