Cool New Trailer For Fallout 4’s First DLC Expansion Drops

So. Many. Robots. Bethesda have just dropped a new trailer for the first expansion coming to Fallout 4 – called Automatron – and it looks incredible. The ability to build and battle robots across a war torn nuclear wasteland? Sign me the fuck up.

In the first of Bethesda’s fulsome sounding paid expansions, a shady character called the Mechanist has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth, including the devious Robobrain.

We get to hunt these metal bastards down and harvest their parts to build and mod our very own custom robot companions. Apparently there’ll be hundreds of mods to choose from; mixing limbs, armour, abilities, and weapons (including the new lightning chain gun, which sounds very promising).

Characters at level 15 or higher even get to customise their robot chum’s paint scheme and choose their voice. Check out the trailer below, and revel in the metallic carnage.

Automatron will be available to download from March 22, and will set you back £7.99. Following that, we get Wasteland Workshop in April, and Far Harbour in May – the latter being the largest landmass Bethesda have ever created for a piece of post launch content.

If that wasn’t enough, there are more unannounced expansions to come throughout 2016. Will we ever get to put Fallout 4 away? It seems not.
