From Software’s punishing action RPG Dark Souls 3 has only been out for a few days, but publisher Bandai Namco is already looking toward the DLC.
The first of two planned expansions is due to arrive sometime this Autumn, with the second chunk of DLC presumably coming late 2016/early 2017.
There’s no word yet on what exactly the DLC will contain, but it’s widely expected that we’ll be getting new maps, bosses, enemies, and additional weapon and armor sets. It’s also safe to assume that the DLC will bring even more ways to die.
The expansions are currently only available by purchasing the Season Pass for £19.99 – arguably a bit of an ask considering we don’t know what we’re paying for yet. Individual prices for the DLC have yet to be announced.
In other Dark Souls related news, Bandai Namco have issued a challenge to players in Australia and New Zealand by way of a speed running contest with a huge cash prize.
