So, you think you can speed run Dark Souls 3, do you? DO YOU? Bandai Namco has announced a Dark Souls 3 speed run competition – but it’s only open to residents of Australia and New Zealand.
Oh no… if only it was open to UK residents. I totally would have smashed it, then (except I wouldn’t have because I am in fact shit).
Entrants can enter to show themselves beating the game in the fastest possible time. Whoever manages the quickest time bags themselves 10,000 Australian dollarydoos in cash.
To enter, all you need to do is complete a Dark Souls 3 run (easy, right?) and upload or stream the entire session to your Twitch account with the hashtag #DS310KSpeedRun.
After that, you’ll need to post your time on the Bandai Namco Australia Facebook page underneath the competition post. The contest runs until May 10, so you’ve plenty of time to git gud.
Dark Souls 3 launched on April 12 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Currently being enjoyed by gamers across the world, it’ll no doubt be the cause of many a tattered friendship and broken controller this weekend.
