Developer Eidos Montreal will be treating gamers to some extensive gameplay footage of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on their Twitch channel.
You can expect it on Eidos’ Twitch channel on June 8, around 4:30 UK time. We’ll be getting 18 minutes of footage, as well as a good look at Prague, the game’s main hub where you can pick up new missions and see the sights. Check it out below, or on Twitch here.
If you have no idea what Deus Ex is, allow me to explain: Set in the year 2029, we’ll play as cyberntically enhanced security expert Adam Jensen.
Unlike the actual 2029, which will probably be like 2016 but with more iPhones and a larger selection of Ben & Jerry flavours, Deus Ex depicts a dystopian sci-fi future, in which “augmented” humans are persecuted for being different.
Jensen fights terrorism, and works to uncover a conspiracy that will blow your mind (probably). As you can imagine, you’ll get to fuck about with all kinds of cool powers on your adventure, like explosives and the abilities to erect an exoskeleton shield.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will also feature a healthy element of player choice. Going in and murdering everything that moves, or sneaking through to avoid killing anyone can play a part in how other characters react to you.
Hopefully, that’ll make for some interesting moments and add to that sweet replay value. Check out a trailer below to whet your appetite before the Twitch demo.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided launches August 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
