Langdon was shooting a documentary called Vision of the Ages with Steve Copeland and Phil Lane Jr. when the shooting occurred. Copeland uploaded footage of the scene, showing a number of bullet holes in the group’s vehicle – they counted at least six.

According to Copeland and Langdon, the gunman attempted to open the car’s passenger door, prompting the group to swiftly drive away. This allegedly led to the gunman opening fire on the vehicle.

While everyone made it out okay, Copeland revealed in his video that one of the bullets came far too close to hitting Langdon, who was sat in the passenger seat.

Copeland wrote in a post accompanying the video upload on Facebook:

The message we’re bringing forward is both ancient and from the future. Now is the time when we come together as one human family to restore our shared home, regenerate and see peace materialize on earth. Some people don’t want this happen, but it’s predestined and will happen regardless of their attempts to keep it from happening.

You can see the full video below for a rundown on what happened, as well as a look at the damage done to the car:

At the time of writing, it doesn’t look as if the gunman has been identified or taken into custody. Meanwhile, Langdon took to Twitter to share his own account of the close call, posting a photo of one of the bullets that hit the passenger seat.

He confirmed that all is well, but acknowledged the car now needs some love.

In slightly happier news for Langdon, Devil May Cry V is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 8.
