Capcom have announced the awesome open-world RPG goodness of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will finally come to the PC on 15 January 2016.

If you ever got the chance to play Dragon’s Dogma on consoles, then you’ll know it was a legitimately fun and intelligent RPG slasher. Playing as your own build-a-hero, you take up to three AI compadres and head off into the wild in pursuit of a dragon. What else.

Originally releasing for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 way back in April 2013, Dark Arisen is the expansion to the original Dragon’s Dogma that dropped in 2012. The PC port will feature the full game, new enemies, weapons, armour and quests as well access to the Bitterblack Isle area.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen for the PC will have full support for Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers and will apparently be a marked visual upgrade from the console version, according to a Capcom blog post.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be available to buy physically or download for £23.99.
