FIFA 16 now has an official soundtrack ahead of its release date less than a fortnight away.
EA games have become known for having either really good, or really dodgy soundtracks. In my memory, the best soundtrack for an EA game was on Need for Speed Underground 2, featuring the likes of Snoop Dog, Queens of the Stone Age, Rise Against and Xzibit. Precious memories.
The 41-strong playlist for FIFA 16 features songs from Foals, Bastille, Everything Everything, Disclosure, Beck and Unknown Mortal Orchestra among others. The selection dwarves the 13-track offering on FIFA’s closest rival PES 2016.
While FIFA is a football game and music doesn’t really enhance your experience, it’s still nice to have something to keep your ears busy during all those menu screens.
EA have compiled a Spotify playlist which you can wrap your lugs around below or follow the link here. FIFA 16 will release on 22 September on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
