2016 has been a pretty stellar year for videogames, but December’s lineup of releases is all the proof needed that the year is set to bow out in style.
We’ll (finally) be seeing the ridiculously anticipated The Last Guardian hit PS4, and manage to get stuck into the first episode of Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season 3, – and there’s so much more to come.
Steep
Ubisoft’s intriguing open world extreme sports game Steep comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on December 2 – bring your own skis.
The Last Guardian
What more can we even say about this one? After a lifetime of delays, it’s coming to PlayStation 4 on December 6. Don’t speak too loudly or you might scare it off.
Dead Rising 4
This could be the biggest, baddest entry in Capcom’s gloriously OTT zombie slaying franchise yet. Power suit-up and rip apart the undead on December 6 (Xbox One, and PC).
The Walking Dead Season 3: A New Frontier
You know The Walking Dead is in very safe hands when Telltale is in the driver’s seat – we can start this new chapter on December 20.
That’s pretty much it for the major releases, but the year will also be rounded out with a number of smaller titles.
