Fallout 4 Dev Bethesda Working On 3 New “Crazy” Games

Speaking at the 2016 DICE Summit, Fallout 4 and Skyrim director Todd Howard spoke about Bethesda’s plans for the future. Turns out there’s some crazy stuff on the horizon.

Beyond the extensive Fallout 4 DLC that starts in March, Howard teased that the company has a few “longer term” projects in the pipeline. Don’t get your hopes up for a Skyrim sequel though, as it seems like Bethesda want to focus on the new.

Howard said:

We have three longer-term projects we’re doing that are all…we’ll talk about them at a much future [sic] date. But they’re different than anything we’ve done before while also being a Bethesda-style game; big and crazy. But in many ways different than things we’ve done before.

Howard also discussed the new Betheseda studio in Montreal, and confirmed that the team there is working on mobile projects and “other things” (tantalising).

Bethesda will be holding its second big E3 show this June in LA. Last year’s was considered to be a huge success by many – in no small part thanks to the announcement of Fallout 4.

I’d bet we’ll be getting a glimpse of at least one of these three mysterious games at this year’s E3, then.
