Ahead of it’s release next month, EA have been showing off some of the new features FIFA 16 will have, as well as new game mode ‘FUT Draft’ and a brand new trailer.
At the Gamescom press conference in Germany, FIFA 16’s executive producer David Rutter has been talking through the new features coming to the latest instalment of the long running football game. To show off the brand new ‘FUT Draft’ mode, EA employed punditry’s answer to the Chuckle Brothers, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, for a sort-of-funny/ sort-of-awkward banter-off.
You’ll be able to select your preferred formation and players from a pre-set list where five of the world’s best players will be available for selection in each position. You can then take your chosen team online for high reward competitions, in which you battle other players to win four games in a row for prizes.
Other new features include an overhauled career mode that includes pre-season tournaments and player training to help develop youth team members and enhance your 1st team squad.
Add this to the new stadium announcements and the gameplay innovations, and FIFA 16 is going to be looking very strong come release day on September 22nd.
