Not happy with the leagues in FIFA 16? Well, why don’t you vote in FIFplay’s FIFA 17 Leagues Survey, and have your say? Voting is still open, but the current results have now been shared.
First, it’s worth noting that this isn’t an official poll from EA Sports. This is just a lil’ something FIFPlay sets up every year to encourage EA Sports for FIFA franchise leagues licensing. The results of these surveys will be sent to EA, who may or may not do anything with the information.
Anyway, take a look at the handy dandy graph below for the current frontrunners.
As you can see, the Israeli League and Turkish PTT League are storming ahead. They each have 15% of the overall votes cast. The current results represent 2,925,338 votes for 79 countries from September 25, 2015 to April 19, 2016.
The German 3rd League is just behind with 13% of the votes, while the top five is filled out by the Hungarian and Egyptian Leagues, who have 4% of the vote each. Check out the entire table of results here.
There’s no cast iron release date for FIFA 17 yet, but it’s expected to Launch sometime this September.

After graduating from the University of Portsmouth in 2015 with a BA in Journalism & Media Studies (thanks for asking), he went on to do some freelance words for various places, including Kotaku, Den of Geek, and TheSixthAxis, before landing a full time gig at UNILAD in 2016.
