We finally have a release date for Final Fantasy 15.
Publisher Square Enix have announced that the latest effort in the long running RPG franchise will launch on September 30 this year
The big date was revealed during the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event, which is being held in sunny Los Angeles.
Final Fantasy 15 was actually announced way back in 2006 as as Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
It’s safe to say it’s took ’em a while – after years of silence, the game was finally reintroduced as Final Fantasy 15 at E3 2013.
Obviously since the project has been promoted from spin off to a core entry in the series, it’s kind of a big deal.
FF15 will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (although there are rumours of Steam and Windows 10 versions).
If you’re itching to try the game out for yourself, a free demo is available now on PlayStation and Xbox.
Titled The Platinum Demo, you can get down to some serious exploration, and get a feel for the combat.
The demo is also a perfect opportunity to get yourself accustomed to the story and world of Final Fantasy 15.
God knows it’s gonna be complicated enough – I’d start researching now if I were you.
