Good news for anyone looking to get their mitts on For Honor as early as possible: a closed multiplayer beta for the historical hack ‘n slash will be taking place over the course of four days later this month.
Ubisoft previously teased that the beta would take part at some point in January, but we now know that it’ll run from January 26-29 across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
A closed beta is a private party, of course, so you will need to sign up to be in which a chance to get some hands-on time with the game.
Registration began in back in December and is still open – though I can’t imagine it’ll remain open for long, so head over here to throw your hat into the ring.
During the beta, you’ll be able to pick a side and take part in a promotion called War of the Factions. The purpose of this is to track stats during the beta and then offer rewards to the top faction.
Even the losers will get some kind of rewards just for taking part (but you’d still be losers). Everything won in the beta can then be carried over to the full game, so it’s a cool opportunity that you won’t wanna miss.
Of course, if you can wait, For Honor comes out properly on February 14, because nothing says Valentines day like a Viking crushing a Knight’s head with a warhammer.
