CD Projekt Red has released an awesome new trailer for Blood and Wine, the second (and final) expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The video is called “new region” and kind of acts like a quaint travel guide for the expansion’s all new setting, called Toussaint. Well, the first half does at least.
We’re shown all the kind of things you’ve come to expect from The Witcher. We have demons to slay, alcohol to drink, and women to woo. Sounds like a rollicking good time for any professional monster hunter.
The video’s narrator also reminds us (as we’ve heard a few times before) that Toussaint “easily rivals” Velen and Skellige in size, which is great news for those of us who have explored every nook and cranny of Witcher 3’s already masssive world.
But things take a turn in the second half of the video. I won’t spoil it for you, but we start to get into the reason Geralt has come to Toussaint – and it’s not just to see the sights. Check it out below.
Blood and Wine features over 90 new quests and 40 points of interest to explore. Overall that equates to roughly 30 hours of gameplay.
All of this is coming on May 31, so we don’t have long to wait now before Projekt Red have one last crack at destroying our social lives.
