Thanks to an actor’s resume we now know that Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently in production.
Motion capture actor Tim Neff has listed work for the currently unannounced game on his online CV noting Rockstar as being the company producing it.
According to IGN, NeoGAF user ‘chadskin’ noticed the addition on Neff’s profiles on Resumes Breakdown Express and iStunt.com.
Typically motion capture work is completed some way into game production suggesting that an announcement isn’t far away.
It is definitely likely that Rockstar are developing a follow-up due to the immense popularity of the previous games, but so far they have remained tight-lipped.
This is the first evidence we have seen that the game is being developed but we have no indication about whether it is legitimate.
It could be a typo with Neff meaning to write Grand Theft Auto 5 instead of 6 and the listing could be completely untrue entirely.
However, last year there were rumours circulating that the sequel was in production with since-departed Rockstar president Leslie Benzies saying that the company had ’45 years worth of ideas we want to do’ with GTA.
We will just have to wait and see if Rockstar break their silence.
