EA has shared some details of what we can expect in the premium pass for Battlefield 1, as well as some news on the first DLC expansion.
The Premium Pass for DICE’s WWI shooter will include early access to a host of new multiplayer maps, four digital expansions, and a bunch of new weapons, dog tags, and skins.
According to the game’s Origin page, the whole shebang will cost $49.99/£39.99.
Meanwhile, the first of four major DLC expansions is called ‘They Shall Not Pass’, and will introduce the French army to the fray in March 2017. Famously of course, the French army were downloadable content during the gruelling events of the First World War.
The product description reads:
Scout ahead with a two-week head start on four themed expansion packs. And France joins the fight in all new multiplayer maps.
Following France, the product description reveals that the Russian Empire will also enter into the battle at some point.
It continues:
Get ready for new Operations and game modes, new Elite classes, weapons, vehicles, and more. The Battlefield 1 Premium Pass includes 16 new multiplayer maps, 20 new weapons, 14 unique dog tags, and 14 Battlefield 1 Battlepacks containing stand-out weapon skins. Each Battlepack is delivered monthly, starting November 2016.
Battlefield 1 comes to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 21, with an open beta coming to players everywhere on August 31.
