Kingdom Hearts III is just days away from its January 29 release, after years of waiting. Unfortunately, vast chunks of footage started to leak online, and have now found their way to everyone’s favourite masturbation station; Pornhub.
Square Enix’s charming Disney-themed RPG first started leaking online after some retailers decided to sell copies of it early. This naturally led certain folk in possession of said copies to decide it’d be a good idea to upload spoiler-filled footage wherever they could.
Following these leaks, Kingdom Hearts III director Tetsuya Nomura said on Twitter:
We’re aware that a small portion of Kingdom Hearts 3 has been circulating online before its official release. We are also aware as to how this has all happened. We’re sorry to see this caused concern amongst our fans who are excited for the release.
Nomura went on to implore fans not to share any of the footage they discovered. After all, this is a game Square Enix have been toiling away on for years now, and to ruin some of the surprises at this stage is just staggeringly insensitive.
As such, sites like YouTube and Facebook cracked down hard on such spoilery videos, swiftly removing any and all Kingdom Hearts III footage that were uploaded as a result of the leaked copies of the game.
Sadly, if someone really wants to spoil a game for everyone, they’ll find a way. Videos containing pretty massive gameplay spoilers have started to appear on Pornhub, presumably because the people behind the uploads think they won’t be taken down quite as efficiently, if at all.
Then again, maybe the people behind the uploads just figured nobody would think to look on Pornhub for Kingdom Hearts III leaks, in which case why upload them there at all?
Whatever the logic behind it, at the time of writing, there are a fair few spoilerific videos on the porn site, so if you do usually head to Pornhub to search Kingdom Hearts for… other reasons, I’d be careful.
Oh, and just to be clear, we’re obviously not gonna be linking you to any of these leaked videos, what with them being thoughtless uploads that kind of take a massive dump on the hard work of the developers and the patience of the fans.
