Well, this is a cool surprise. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 was just announced at The Game Awards, nearly a decade after the last game released.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is another team up RPG adventure featuring the likes of Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Curiously, this one is a Nintendo Switch exclusive.
Check out the trailer below:
Apparently, the new game will have some of the biggest Marvel heroes teaming up to embark on a cosmic adventure in a battle against Thanos and his Black Order.
As per the trailer’s description:
In this new storyline, heroes and villains unite in a race across the Marvel Universe to find the Infinity Stones before Thanos and The Black Order use them to unleash cosmic chaos. From Avengers Tower to the X-Mansion and beyond, every stop on the dangerous quest to thwart Thanos results in unexpected collisions of fan-favorite characters and iconic locations.
With online play and a new “hero camera” perspective, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 could be a huge game for fans of the Marvel universe.
I personally loved the first two games in the series, even if they weren’t without problems, and can’t wait to check this one out. Look for it in 2019.
