Goodness, it seems that Mass Effect Andromeda is an actual game with a release date and everything – what a crazy world we live in.
A potential launch date for BioWare’s fourth entry in their grand sci-fi opera has been leaked by none other than Amazon – those rascals.
As spotted by Destructoid, a listing for the glossy Mass Effect artbook by the name of The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda has a hardcover release date of March 21. The description reads that publisher Dark Horse will release the book ‘simultaneously with the game.’
Seems pretty conclusive. While it could easily be a placeholder date, March 21 2017 is a Tuesday, which as we all know is often the day videogames are released into the world.
This also lines up with EA’s reports that Mass Effect Andromeda would release in the final quarter of EA’s financial year, which is between January and March.
Our most recent peek at the game was during Sony’s unveiling of the PS4 Pro, where we learned that the game will be able to run on the 4K machine.
That was some pretty sexy footage, and you can check it out just below.
Of course, BioWare could still delay the game at this point – but if we all stay quiet and try not to scare it, it might just release on time.
