Mortal Kombat 11 is an exceptionally good fighting game, that’s already packed with content.  It’s not over yet though, as a slew of post-launch DLC characters and goodies will be released in the coming months.

A new trailer for the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack(ugh at that name) details a number of the aforementioned DLC characters that will be making their way into NetherRealm’s brutal fighter soon, and it includes a tease that suggests two iconic movie characters will be joining the fray .

Check out the Kombat Pack trailer below:

While the trailer mostly shines the spotlight on Shang Tsung and his mad sick Ninja skills, we also got confirmation that Sindel, Nightwolf would be coming to the game, alongside the demonic comic book hero Spawn, which is especially exciting.

Spawn’s inclusion in Mortal Kombat 11 had previously been heavily rumoured, so it’ll be really awesome to see the cult character bring his uniquely hellish fighting style to the game. I can’t wait to see his fatalities.

As if Spawn on his own isn’t cool enough, NetherRealm also seemed to tease the inclusion of Ash Williams from The Evil Dead, and the motherforking Terminator himself. Do you know how long I’ve waited to see The Terminator fight Spawn? Not that long. But now I know it’s a possibility, I can’t stop thinking about it.

Towards the end of the Kombat Pack trailer, we get the cryptic tease that “two more guests will be revealed.” Fans seem to have identified The Terminator thanks to the familiar music that plays during the end of the trailer, while a chainsaw sound effect seems to hint at Ash William’s iconic weapon.

Dataminers recently found evidence of Spawn in the files for Mortal Kombat 11, alongside references for The Terminator and Ash. With Spawn now confirmed, it definitely looks like the other two will follow soon.

Bruce Campbell – who played Ash in The Evil Dead – also dropped a pretty intriguing tweet that implies the character will be making his way into the game at some point.

It’s also worth pointing out that the dataminers also found evidence of The Joker hiding away in the files, though we haven’t seen anything from NetherRealm that could be seen as a tease for the Clown Prince of Crime.

There’s every chance NetherRealm is simply waiting to announce The Joker as a completely standalone DLC of course, perhaps to coincide with the release of the standalone Joker movie, which releases in October.
