We have our first taste of the new story and vehicles of the upcoming massive expansion to Dying Light, courtesy of the full-length trailer.
The expansion was announced at this year’s E3, but developers Techland had been pretty shtum about what they had planned for The Following – all we knew was that it would be story driven, huge, and there would be vehicles. Angry vehicles.
The story will again focus on protagonist Kyle Crane as he searches a hazardous outback for ‘mysterious and fanatical cultists’ who have info about the zombie outbreak. Naturally, it’s not as easy as strolling up to the front gate and politely enquiring about the end of civilisation as we know it, Crane’s gotta earn the right to their secrets.
We also get a peek at the dirt buggy, a customisable and upgradeable zombie ploughin’ machine that Techland describe as the ‘deadliest weapon’ in the game.
If you like the looks of Dying Light: The Following, it’s included in the Dying Light DLC pack, or you can pick it up for $14.99 on its own. UK pricing is yet to be announced, as is the release date.
