2K Games has released (yet another) new trailer Mafia 3, this time showcasing the many ways in which protagonist Lincoln Clay can earn a little extra dough in 1968 New Orleans.

Would you believe the majority of these methods involve violence? Madness, I know.

According to the video (which you cans see below), one of the quickest routes to getting money is by going for enemy gangsters, taking them out, and even interrogating individuals to find out where the biggest stashes are hidden.

Should the mood take you, you can also grab your cash by recruiting racket bosses. Killing them gives you a more immediate reward, too, but working with them obviously helps in the long run.

Check out all the ways our industrious Lincoln Clay makes his money below:

Of course, once you’ve earned all that cash, it makes sense to spend it, right? Fret not, as you can blow your dough on everything from cars and guns, to… more cars and guns (and explosives).

If you die at any point, you’ll lose a big chunk of your money, but careful players will be glad to know that it can be stored in a safe-house to avoid such tragedy.

Mafia 3 releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 7, and has an excellent soundtrack – that’s not really relevant to anything here, but it’s always worth mentioning.
