Popular Twitch streamer, Fortnite player, and purple hair haver Tyler “Ninja” Blevin has answered some of the internet’s most searched-for questions about him.

Appearing for WIRED, the recent winner of content creator of the year at The Game Awards was on hand to answer some burning questions like; “Is Ninja dead?”

He’s not, if you were wondering.

Epic Games

Over the course of the 10 minute video, Ninja discovers what people have been Googling about him, as he lets us know whether or not he’s a hacker (he’s not) and how long he’s been playing Fortnite for (pretty much as long as the game has been around).

Ninja also touches on whether or not he’s an athlete. While he did indeed used to play “soccer” (that’s what people who can’t play football call football), he doesn’t consider his skills as a gamer enough to make him athletic.

It’s fascinating stuff for anyone who’s ever Googled a question about Ninja and has been disgusted to find that instead of an answer from the man himself you got some weird internet dude speculating on Yahoo Answers or Reddit.

Check it out for yourself below, why don’t you?

During the interview, Ninja also revealed that he’s never been paid by Fortnite developer Epic Games, although he obviously makes money through playing the popular battle royale on Twitch.

He explained:

I have to really think about this, because I don’t want to misspeak. I don’t think I’ve been paid by them to do anything, ever. Other than what they’ve done for everyone like the Support-A-Creator code, and they didn’t pay me for that. So no, Fortnite has not paid me.

So there you have it, the man isn’t in the pay of Fortnite and he’s not a hacker. Not that this will stop people saying exactly that if it’s what they want to believe about him, mind.

Ninja’s appearance on the WIRED Autocomplete Interview marks the most disliked edition of the series yet, but given that the guy looms so large over the industry, there was always bound to be some extreme reactions.
