Nintendo have been teasing that “we haven’t shown everything” following the reveal of their new console – the Switch – last week.
Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, a spokesperson for Nintendo also claimed that we’ll be seeing more from the console come early next year. Quite a long wait for fans to get some concrete info, but it’s better than nothing I guess. In case you missed it, here’s the full reveal trailer.
Alongside this, a tweet from Wall Street Journal writer Takashi Mochizuki suggests that we’re going to get a game titles and spec list for the console some time before its release in 2017, so it’s possible the spokesperson was referring to that.
Nintendo’s stock fell by a stunning 6.5 percent following the reveal of the Switch, which mirrors the 5 percent drop the company saw after the 2011 reveal of the Wii U. Despite this, consumer reaction seems to have been generally favourable, but rightly, many are waiting for more information before they make their minds up.
